OREANDA-NEWS. November 15, 2012. On October B, 2012 one summed up the results of the open request for proposals on supply of a generator to Krasnoyarsk CHP-1 – branch of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” (part of “Siberian Generating Company” group of companies). JSC “NPO ELSIB” of Novosibirsk qualified as the winning bidder.

JSC “NPO ELSIB” will manufacture and supply he equipment in June–September 2013. Performance of construction and installation works for the generator replacement is scheduled for 2014.

The generator is to be purchased within the framework of implementation of investment project “Replacement of Generator No. 9” at Krasnoyarsk CHP-1. The project work scope includes: equipment purchase, performance of construction-and-installation and commissioning works for replacement of the existing Generator No. 9 of Krasnoyarsk CHP-1 (model TV-60-2 generator with capacity equal to 60 MW) with a hydrogen-cooled TVF-65-2U3 generator, involving reconstruction of relay protection apparatus.

The power unit modernization measures being planned are aimed at reduction of economic and technological risks arising due to run-down equipment operational faults. The project implementation will result in enhanced reliability of consumer thermal and electric energy supply.

“Siberian Generating Company (SGC) group including JSC “Kuzbassenergo” (TGC-12) and JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” is engaged in production and sales of electric and thermal energy, additionally providing for heat supply. The group of companies carries out its activities within the Kemerovo Region, the Altai and Krasnoyarsk Territories and the Republic of Khakassia. In the total generation volume of the integrated power system of Siberia, SGC accounts for a portion amounting to approximately 20%. The main fuel is coal. The main end market is the wholesale electric power market. Currently, the company is implementing a large-scale investment program for construction of new facilities within the framework of power supply contracts, the program cost exceeding 78 bln RUB.
