OREANDA-NEWS. November 15, 2012. “Siberian Generating Company” Group having invested over 13 bln RUB in development of power industry in Siberia during the 9 months of 2012

During January-September 2012 “Siberian Generating Company” Group provided investment program funding in an amount of 13.357 bln RUB. The greater part of the funds (10.788 bln RUB) was allocated for construction of new power units and reconstruction of the existing ones within the framework of Contracts for Supply of Power.

In the 9 months of 2012 the investment programs of JSC Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” and JSC “Kuzbassenergo” were funded to an extent of 5.506 bln RUB and 7.851 bln RUB respectively.

“Siberian Generating Company” Group companies have assumed obligations in connection with implementation of 12 projects within the framework of Contracts for Supply of Power (modernization of existing capacities and commissioning new ones), with the total capacity exceeding 1.8 GW. The estimated cost of “Siberian Generating Company” investment program for the period till 2015 is 83 bln RUB.

Among the Company’s major projects is reconstruction of the seventh power unit of Nazarovo GRES (Krasnoyarsk Territory). Implementation of the project costing approximately 7 bln RUB is planned to be completed in October 2013. The power unit technical re-equipment will enable to increase capacity from 400 MW to 415 MW and significantly reduce harmful emissions into the environment: NOx – by 30–50%, SOx – by 20–40%.

In the middle of 2014 construction of Power Units Nos. 14 and 15 is to be completed at “Novokuznetskaya” GTPP (Kemerovo Region) with aggregate capacity equal to 280 MW.

“Generating Company” Group companies have already implemented 2 out of the 12 project, their aggregate capacity amounting to 308 MW. Thus, in particular, one has commissioned for operation Unit No 15 of Novo-Kemerovskaya CHP and the first power unit of Krasnoyarsk CHP-3.
