OREANDA-NEWS. November 16, 2012. ESTA Group has completed construction of a multi-functional Pushkinskiy complex in Donetsk. It consists of two buildings: a 24-storey building with a 5-storey stylobate, standing separately in the near proximity to the central Lenin Square. Total area of the building is 48,804.7m2 including 25,942m2 of office premises. In addition, Pushkinskiy Passage - a modern street retail trade area - will open on the basement floor of the building.

"This project fully complies with our strategy: to form a portfolio of unique projects in terms of quality, location and importance for the city," said Executive Director of ESTA Holding Maksim Gromadtsov, "Pushkinskiy complex is undoubtedly a landmark project for the whole Ukrainian real estate market. Today it is the best national project in terms of planning design, engineering solutions and the materials used."

The project engaged companies from Germany, Italy, Serbia and the USA. In particular, Schwizke (Germany) is the author of the building concept and the general contractor is Ukraine-based Synthesis Engineering, a subsidiary of the largest construction Italian Group, Montagna Costruzioni.

Pushkinskiy complex was built with the use of modern energy saving technologies. Permasteelisa Group (Italy), one of the largest global engineering companies, developed an original facade solution. In addition, for the first time ever in Ukraine the building utilises a double skin facade.

Construction took about 4 years and the total investment into the project made over USD 120m.

"Within the next several days Pushkinskiy complex will host its first tenants who have already completed repair works. We are confident that they will fully appreciate the advantages of one of the most sophisticated buildings in Ukraine," noted Mr Gromadtsov.
