OREANDA-NEWS. November 20, 2012. The Company started selling motor fuel Ai-92 (Regular-92) of Class 5, which is the most popular grade among motorists, at 62 filling stations of TATNEFT located in the Trans-Kama region and the south-eastern part of Tatarstan, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

Class 5 standard sets stringent fuel quality requirements. Selling of this class Ai-92 became possible after modernization of Elkhovskoye Oil Refining Administration (ENPU) of NGDU "Elkhovneft" of JSC TATNEFT.

The higher is the fuel grade, the cleaner is the gasoline: the motor transport impact on the natural environment significantly reduces and the life of a car increases. In particular, in class 2 gasoline the sulfur content is 500 milligram per 1 kilogram, while the content of the same substance in grade 5 gasoline is 50 times less. There are other advantages of grade 5 gasoline as well. They include the lack of monomethylaniline, more limited content of benzene, oxygen, oxygenates, aromatic and olefinic hydrocarbons, adversely affecting the engine operation. This high-quality fuel is very popular among car enthusiasts.

Ensuring high quality of oil products is one of the priorities for TATNEFT's filling stations. The Company's filling stations sell all kinds of motor fuel meeting the requirements of up- to-date standards and technical regulations.
