OREANDA-NEWS.  November 20, 2012. Ukraine and Vietnam will develop cooperation in the field of tourism. This was started by head of the Ukrainian State Agency for Tourism and Resorts Olena Shapovalova, which is in a part of the Ukrainian delegation during the official visit of Prime Minister Mykola Azarov to the Socialist Republic Vietnam.

In the presence of Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Tan Dung was signed a plan of cooperation in tourism between the State Agency of Ukraine for Tourism and Resorts of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam in 2013-2015.

Plan identifies the main areas of cooperation between the two countries in the tourism sector at the interagency level. In particular, the plan provides for the exchange of relevant information in the field of tourism between Ukraine and Vietnam, and assistance in the promotion of national tourism products of the two countries in the international market.

Ukraine and Vietnam will also work to promote the programs of educational exchange and professional training in tourism (professors, experts and students).

The plan also provides for active cooperation between Ukraine and Vietnam as part of the membership of both countries in the World Tourism Organization.
