OREANDA-NEWS. November 20, 2012. Kirovsky Zavod has extended the social package considerably. From September 1 the Company introduced the system of allowance for hot meals of the employees.

A part of the meal’s cost is compensated at payment for them in canteens in the territory of the plant using individual magnetic permit of the employee. Newly introduced incentive allows for the employees to save almost 50% of expenses for meals on week-days when buying a complex meal. Annual expenses of Kirovsky Zavod for this social project will compose over 27 million rubles.

Simultaneously with introduction of incentives Kirovsky Zavod has reorganized the catering system in the territory of the enterprise. On the company’s initiative the assortment was enlarged and control over quality of meals in the plant’s coffee-bars and canteens was tightened. Moreover, the employees acquired a possibility to select and order hot meals on the phone with follow-up delivery to the working place. Taking into consideration considerable remoteness of many industrial sites and workshops from the operating catering points (the total area of the enterprise composes over 180 ha), which prevented a part of the employees to receive hot food during the meal break it was decided about opening of two new canteens within the nearest months.

Provision of the employees of Kirovsky Zavod with allowances and reorganization of the catering system have continued implementation of the complex program of the Company’s management on enhancement of labor conditions of the personnel. The first step in this direction was opening of new changing rooms and showers in the workshops of Kirov Energomash Plant and St Petersburg Tractor Plant in the summer 2012.
