OREANDA-NEWS. November 23, 2012. Net profit of Belarusian OJSC Grodno Azot reduced 23.7% on the year in the first half of 2012 to 183.419 billion Belarusian rubles (USD 21.6 million), according to the H1 report published by the Finance Ministry’s Securities Department.

Grodno Azot’s revenues reached 4.105 trillion rubles (USD 482.9 million), up 2.1 times on the year.

The company’s statutory capital is owned by 1,080 shareholders, including 1 entity and 1,079 individuals.

The average number of employees at Grodno Azot stands at 10,704.

Grodno Azot was founded in 1963 and transformed into an open joint-stock company in 2002. The state controls 99.97% in the company. Grodno Azot is the main producer of liquid ammonia, nitrogen fertilizers, methanol, caprolactam, biodiesel fuel.
