OREANDA-NEWS. November 26, 2012. According to the National Bureau o Statistics, most of the works were fulfilled by economic agents of private form of ownership. They made a sum of 2 bln. 233.4 mln. leis or79.4% of a total volume of works, 5.7% down as compared with January-September, 2011.

The structure of building and assembly works includes the dominant amount of new constructions which made up a sum of 1 bln. 521 mln. leis , 2% down as compared with the same period of 2011. Their share in the total amount of the works fulfilled made up 54,.1%. Overhaul and maintenance works made 43.1% of a total volume of building works of this period at a sum of 1 bln. 214.5 mln. leis.

An amount of overhaul works decreased 7.9% to 519 mln. leis whereas an amount of maintenance works declined 3% to 695.5 mln. leis.

The volume of building and assembly works grew 2.1% to 1 bln. 305.4 mln. leis in engineering construction and 3.5% to 834.9 mln. leis in residential one. A volume of non-residential construction fell 20.3% to 595.1 mln. leis.
