In October, 2012, an amount of railway, motor car, river and air transportation increased 10% as caomperd with September, 2012 and 9.5% as comapred with Ovtober, 2011, the National Bureau of Statistics informs. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the most drastic decline was registered in railway transportation: 11.6% down to 3 mln.379.6 thou. t.

A biggest share of all cargoes loaded at railway stations of Moldova fell on building materials and cement (25.5% against 17% in last January-October), ferrous metal and scrap and (24% against 23.3% ), and crops and flour production (19.6% against 36.4%). An amount of motor car transportation increased by 5.6% to 4 mln. 545.5 thou. in January-October, 2012.

The most amounts of cargo were transported byNisporeni (4.3%), Straseni (4.3%), Anenii Noi (4%),Soroca (2,1%), Taraclia (2%), Rezina (1,.8%) and Ialoveni (1.7%). Within this period it was transported 120.5 thou. t. cargo by river transport, 4.1% down as compared with January-October, 2011 and 1.3 thou. t. by air, 7.2% up.
