OREANDA-NEWS. November 27, 2012. The repair campaign at Abakan CHP (branch of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)”, part of LLC “Siberian Generating Company” group of companies) has been completed. On November 12, 2012 boiler assembly BKZ-420/140 was accepted for operation after repair. That was a concluding item on Abakan CHP annual repairs program.

Current repair of boiler assembly BKZ-420/140 (No. 3 within the plant) featuring skid pipes replacement was carried out by specialists of the Abakan branch of Sibirenergoremont. The works were performed to the proper quality standard and in accordance with the schedule of the plant equipment preparation for the autumn/winter heating season. Completion of repair on the facility referred to highlights fulfilment of Abakan CHP repairs program as a whole.

It was already in spring that the contractors commenced the repair works. Currently, the plant has undergone repair of all the four boiler assemblies, current repair of Turbines Nos. 1 and 3, medium repair of Turbine No. 2, planned repair and preventive works on trunk pipelines. The stock of coal in the fuel storage complies with the branch targets.

The plant preparedness for the heating season was reviewed by a commission including representatives of Siberian Generating Company and Yenisei TGC (TGC-13), alongside with Rostekhnadzor and Khakassia Regional Dispatching Office specialists. The statement of preparedness for work under wintertime conditions was signed without reservations. Following the review outcome, the certificate of the plant preparedness for operation throughout 2011/2012 autumn/winter period was signed that will be handed over to Abakan CHP managers one of these days.

“Siberian Generating Company (SGC) group including JSC “Kuzbassenergo” (TGC-12) and JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” is engaged in production and sales of electric and thermal energy, additionally providing for heat supply. The group of companies carries out its activities within the Kemerovo Region, the Altai and Krasnoyarsk Territories and the Republic of Khakassia. In the total generation volume of the integrated power system of Siberia, SGC accounts for a portion amounting to approximately 20%. The main fuel is coal. The main end market is the wholesale electric power market. Currently, the company is implementing a large-scale investment program for construction of new facilities within the framework of power supply contracts, the program cost exceeding 78 bln RUB.
