OREANDA-NEWS. November 28, 2012. The UTair Group has surpassed market average in growth of several key indicators over the past 10 months.

In the period between January and October 2012, the UTair Group transported a combined total of 7,251,699 passengers, an increase of 31.4% in comparison with the same period in 2011. Passenger turnover for reporting period constituted 13,499,144.75PKM, an increase of 33.4%over same period in 2011. According to Russian aviation industry statistics gathered by the Transport Clearing House, the Russian industry average for growth in this indicator stands at 17.4%

In total, UTair Group fixed wing aircraft logged 249,026 flight hours for the reporting period, 18.5% more than for the same period last year. UTair Group aircraft delivered 22,902.28 tons of cargo, 52.4% more than for the same period in 2011.

UTair Group helicopters logged a total of 141,678 flight hours, 20.8% more than for the same reporting period last year.

The UTair Group includes airlines conducting passenger and cargo operations with fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft as well as enterprises offering MRO, personnel training, flight services and air transportation sales services. UTair Aviation is the Group's core enterprise and includes Utair-Express, UTair-Ukraine, UTair-Cargo, Turukhan, JSC Nefteyuganskiy, Vostok, Helisur, UTair Europe, UTair South Africa and UTair India as well as UTair-Technichs, UTair-Engineering and other enterprises. The fleet of the Group includes more than 550 aircraft - more than 200 fixed wing planes and more than 350 helicopters. UTair Group revenue for 2011 amounted to 54,126 mln rubles, an estimated 27.6% increase in revenue over 2010. Net profit for 2011 grew 21.2%% over 2010 to 261.2 mln rubles. UTair Group headquarters are situated in Surgut, Russia. Subsidiaries are located in Sugut, Tyumen, Khanty-Mansyisk, Moscow and in other cities in Russia and around the world.
