OREANDA-NEWS. November 29, 2012. TATNEFT Company participated in the 17-th International Specialized Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2012" held in Ashgabat, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

The popular annular forum at "Sergi kosgi" National Exhibition Centre of Turkmenistan brought together representatives of about 250 companies from 47 countries of the world.

125 exhibitors from 22 countries presented their products and technologies at the exhibition demonstrating the latest technologies in exploration, production, storage, transportation, distribution and processing of crude oil and gas. Among them there were about 20 Russian companies, including some major partners of Turkmenistan: "Gazprom", "Gidromashservis", "United Engine Building Corporation", OGC "Itera", TATNEFT, "Pipe Metallurgical Company", "Uralkhimmash" and other companies.

The event organizers were traditional: Ministry of oil and gas and mineral resources of Turkmenistan and other oil and gas industry organizations, as well as the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

The exposition stand of JSC TATNEFT included new Company's technologies in the construction of complex architecture wells and development of extra-viscous oil fields. The Company also presented its engineering developments in oil and gas production, such as chain drives of JSC TATNEFT, technologies and equipment for dual completion and production of two layers, technologies for crude oil and gas treatment, as well as well workover and enhanced oil recovery technologies, up-to-date methods of oil recovery enhancement, local well casing equipment (OLKS), etc.

TATNEFT was awarded a diploma of the Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan for participation in the exhibition events.

As part of the exhibition events the representatives of JSC TATNEFT also participated in the International Oil and Gas Conference on the subject "Oil and Gas Industry of Turkmenistan: the present, the prospects for development and international cooperation", which brought together about 700 delegates with more than 500 of them representing foreign companies.
