Mazda's total domestic production volume in October 2012 decreased 5.0% compared to October 2011 due to decreased production of passenger cars.

2. Overseas Production

Mazda's overseas production volume in October 2012 increased 3.2% compared to October 2011, reflecting increased production of commercial vehicles.

Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 4.1% (down 0.5 points year-on-year), with a 3.0% share of the micro-mini segment (up 0.1 points year-on-year) and a 3.7% total market share (down 0.3 points year-on-year).
