OREANDA-NEWS. November 30, 2012. State-owned Belarusian company OJSC Belaruskali is holding an open tender to choose a prime contractor to build a potash mine and renovate waste salt removal conveyers, the company said in a release.

The total value of the project is Br34.98 billion (USD 4.091 million).

The closing date for applications is December 10, 2012 inclusive.

The state-owned Belarusian company OJSC Belaruskali is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of potash fertilizers, employing about 18,590 personnel. It operates the Starobinskoye potash salts deposit and comprises four mine groups, auxiliary shops and support units.

Belaruskali controls 16% of the world’s potash fertilizer market.
