OREANDA-NEWS. December 03, 2012. Uzbekneftegaz national holding company completed construction of the first line of propane-butane mixture facility at Mubarek gas processing plant.

Energonews reported quoting source in the company that construction of booster station and the first line of capacities on processing of 4 billion cubic meters of natural gas a year were completed.

Construction of all facility, which consists of three technologic lines, will be completed in the middle in 2013, the plant said.

Once the facility will reach its full capacity, it will be able to process 12 billion cubic meters of gas a year and produce 258,000 tonnes of liquefied gas and 125,000 tonnes of gas condensate. Over 80% products will be exported. Ukraine’s JSC Sumy NPO supplies equipment to the project.

The project’s cost is US4 million. China Development Bank issued loan for US million to its implementation. Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan allocated loan for US million and Uzbekneftegaz directed US.6 million of own funds to the project.

Mubarek gas processing plant is largest gas processing plant in Uzbekistan with the capacity of 30 billion cubic meters of gas a year. The enterprise will produce gas condensate, liquefied gas and brimstone.
