OREANDA-NEWS. December 3, 2012. The Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO announces the launch of the ninth SKOLKOVO Executive MBA class, which holds the absolute record for the amount of students: a total of 55 has begun studying at the programme.

The profile of the newest SKOLKOVO Executive MBA intake is very diverse. The EMBA-9 students occupy top-management positions and are business owners in such areas as petrochemistry, real estate and construction, finances, consulting, public health sector, metallurgy, shipbuilding, entertainment, IT, restaurant business and tourism. The majority of the students are Russians, but there are representatives of Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Georgia and Germany.

The EMBA-9 is the third SKOLKOVO Executive MBA class that studies in terms of the “Enter in Russian” programme: first 9 of 17 modules are accompanied by simultaneous translation. It is supposed that the participants would be able to improve their English during the first half of the programme to continue studying without an interpretor.

The first day of the programme is dedicated as always to the overall introduction. EMBA-9 will take part in a quest “Ninth planet” on the SKOLKOVO business school Campus, and a grand dinner is planned for the evening. During the latest event the students will talk to Andrei Rappoport, President of the Moscow School of Managenent SKOLKOVO, and the Dean Andrei Volkov. They are also looking forward to hearing a speech and presentation of the guest speaker Vladimir Dolgov, Head of eBay Marketplaces.

During the first module the class will study General Management under the supervision of Keith Goodall. Ella Stewart, Chairman of Board of Directors and CEO at BBDO Group, and Pavel Kaplevic, producer and artist, will perform as visiting experts.
