A traditional scientific and technical fair of ideas and proposals of TATNEFT Group of Companies organized jointly with the Scientific and Technical Society of Oil and Gas of the Republic of Tatarstan was held in Almetyevsk (Republic of Tatarstan), reported the press-centre of TATNEFT

An extensive exposition display was arranged at "Neftche" Palace of Culture, where the event was held, where business units and oil service companies of Tatarstan presented the latest inventions, engineering developments and technical solutions in various areas of industrial activity.

The specialists of JSC TATNEFT are annually awarded the title of the All-Russian Contest "Engineer of the Year" and "Excellence in Innovation and Invention of RT" for the achievements in the field of invention and rationalization. The Company has been recognized the best company for the invention and rationalization in the Republic of Tatarstan for 9 years.

This year, the Contest Commission has considered 402 proposals from 14 structural divisions and seven management companies. The works were nominated for fourteen categories: "Geology and development of oil and gas fields", "Enhanced oil recovery methods", "Construction of wells", "Wells workover", "Oil and gas production", "Oil and gas treatment", "Reservoir pressure maintenance", "Machinery, equipment and specialized equipment", "Energy", "Oilfield equipment corrosion protection and ecology", "Labor protection and industrial safety", "Information technologies", "Financial and economic activities" and "Scientific and technical support for production activities".

NGDU "Almetyevneft", TatNIPIneft and NGDU "Aznakaevskneft" were the best in the team placement.

Individual prizes were also awarded in the category "Best Innovator". They were conferred to Anton Belonogov, oil and gas production operator of NGDU "Elkhovneft", Dmitry Zaitsev, leading workover operations manager of NGDU "Almetyevneft", Rustam Kalimullin, process engineer of the crude oil production development office of NGDU "Almetyevneft" and Roman Chernov, leading process engineer of the reservoir pressure maintenance service of NGDU of "Bavlyneft".
