OREANDA-NEWS. December 05, 2012. Within first 9 months of 2012 the return from sales of broadcasting and retransmission of audio-visual programs made up 231.5 mln. leis in Moldova. This sum included 121,9 mln. leis of returns to operators of paid TV services, The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communication and Information Technologies informs.

Most incomes were gained by Communications and Moldtelecom – 39.6 mln. leis and 29.5 mln. leis respectively. ARPU of Sun Communications was 39.6 mln. leis, being 29.5 mln. leis at Moldtelecom.

Their average revenue per user (ARPU) was 51 leis. ARPU at Sun Communications amounted to 40.3 leis, being 85.1 leis at Moldtelecom . In January-September, 2012 there were 128 operators in the market of paid TV services. The biggest share of the market was occupied by Sun Communications and Moldtelecom.

They made 32.5%, and 24.2% of all incomes gained in the market. FOCUS-SAT and AMT occupied markets shares of 7% and 4.5% respectively, rest of the operators sharing the share of 31.8%.
