OREANDA-NEWS. December 06, 2012. In 2013 three rounds more are planned to be held of the talks on the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area between Moldova and the EU. This was stated by Vice Premier, Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar at a sitting of the inter-branch commission on European integration, chaired by Premier of Moldova Vladimir Filat.

The head of the Economy Minister reported on the last round of the talks and evaluation of progress Moldova had reached in provisions concerning sanitary and phyto - sanitary norms.

The Premier of Moldova stressed that 2013 is of extremely importance for Moldova since it is going to sign the Association agreement at the summit of the Eastern Partnership in Vilnius next autumn.

This agreement provides creation of the free trade area between RM and EU and completion of the implementation of the Plan of Action for visa liberalization for Moldova.
