OREANDA-NEWS. December 07, 2012. The Bank of Moscow has launched the Internet acquiring service for the payment of municipal services and the services provided by governmental institutions on the Moscow State Service Portal. A driver’s personal account in the Moscow pilot parking space can be credited or payment for studies in a musical, art or sports school can be made with a Visa and MasterCard. The project has been implemented in cooperation with the Moscow IT Department.

Payments are made via the Payment and Accrual Registration System (PARS) that has been introduced and implemented on the basis of the Decision of the Moscow Government early in November this year. The Bank of Moscow has been one of the first to join the PARS and now is acting as the settlement bank and Internet acquirer bank for transfers via the personal office on the Moscow State and Municipal Service Portal pgu.mos.ru. Today with the help of the Bank of Moscow not only car parking and additional education services but also road traffic police fines and communal services can be paid for. The list of services accessible for payment will be expanded regularly.

"Payment acquiring on the Moscow State and Municipal Service Portal is actually one of the priority projects for the Bank of Moscow," said Sergey Mednov, Senior Vice President of the Bank of Moscow. "We have launched this convenient and reliable service for crediting parking accounts and paying for state services for Muscovites and guests of Moscow within the shortest time possible".

"The on-line communal payment service that was launched as a pilot project last year was used by thousands of Moscow families. Success of the project was spurred up by the creation of the Payment and Accrual Registration System, and we are especially pleased with the fact that the pioneer of acquiring on the Moscow Portal was among the first to join it".
