OREANDA-NEWS. December 10, 2012. To advocate competition and information exchange, India’s Competition Commission publishes a quarterly information newsletter with updated information about the cases under consideration and initiated investigations, and reference materials on international cooperation as well as other most importation information of the Commission, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The second volume (July – September 2012) focuses on industry associations. More detailed information is available of the web-site of India’s Competition Commission.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) has been cooperating with the Competition Commission of India since 2007 at both bilateral level and under the umbrella of international organizations – OECD, ICN, as well as in the BRICS format. The main areas of cooperation were formalized in the Memorandum of Understanding between FAS and the Competition Commission of India signed on 16th December 2011 in Moscow in the course of negotiations between the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev and the India’s Prime-Minister Manmohan Singh in the Kremlin.
