OREANDA-NEWS. December 25, 2012. Renaissance Capital, the leading emerging markets investment bank, has continued to strengthen its domestic business with the appointment of Alexander Merzlenko as President of Renaissance Capital in Russia.

Mr. Merzlenko will focus on widening and deepening the Firm's key relationships across the public and private sectors in Russia, and supporting the development of internal and external public and government relations opportunities. He will also oversee other issues relating to the operation and management of the Firm.

Mr. Merzlenko joined Renaissance Capital in 2000, was appointed Head of Russian Investment Banking and Financing (IBF) in 2009, and Deputy CEO in 2011, positions he will continue to hold.

Mr. Merzlenko will report to John Hyman and Igor Vayn.
