OREANDA-NEWS. December 26, 2012. Svyazinvest’s subsidiary, Central Telegraph, held a board of directors meeting by mail-in ballot in Moscow.

Central Telegraph’s board of directors unanimously voted to dismiss Igor Zabolotny as the company’s CEO and appoint Rodion Levochka to replace him.

In his remarks about the board’s decisions Central Telegraph’s Chairman and Svyazinvest’s CEO Vadim Semyonov said: “As part of the second stage of restructuring at the Svyazinvest Group of companies, Central Telegraph is embarking on a new era of its development. In the very near future, when Svyazinvest and Rostelecom are merged into a single company, Central Telegraph will join the league of Rostelecom’s subsidiaries. The company will face new and highly ambitious challenges such as boosting the footprint of its merged business entity on the Moscow telecommunications services market. The board of directors decided to entrust those tasks to a new team of managers led by Rodion Levochka. We hope that the experience Rodion Levochka has acquired while working for Rostelecom will provide new impetus to growth of Central Telegraph’s business, consistent with the overall development strategy of the merged Rostelecom”.
