OREANDA-NEWS. December 29, 2012. Victoria supermarket chain, which is part of DIXY Group, successfully pursues rapid expansion in Moscow Region, as seven new supermarkets were opened here alone in 2012. All in all, Victoria opened eight new supermarkets in 2012. The new supermarkets have a total of 8,500 square meters of selling space.

The most recent addition to the chain is the Moscow Sviblovo supermarket located near the metro station. The high housing density in the district and scarcity of stores offering groceries and convenience goods suggested that the local residents missed a contemporary supermarket with a broad range of products.

This ‘compact supermarket’ has 770 square meters of shopping space, while offering 10,000 commodity items, the number that is typical of a regular supermarket.

Shoppers will not only find familiar groceries and goods, but also benefit from a delicatessen store with confectionary and freshly baked goods.

The supermarket is located in the first floor of the mixed-use business center at 26 Snezhnaya Street, Moscow and operates 24/7. The Sviblovo supermarket became Victoria’s 20th supermarket in Moscow Region; overall, the chain operates 30 supermarkets.
