OREANDA-NEWS. January 10, 2013. Gazprombank and the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) signed a General Agreement. Based on the signed Agreement, Gazprombank will obtain an USD 300 million facility (JBIC portion). The credit line is cofinancedby private financial institutions with Nippon Export and Investment Insurance (NEXI) providing insurance cover for their portion.The overall cofinancing amount adds up to the equivalent of USD 500 million.

These agreements will enable Gazprombank to offer to its corporate customers more flexible and better terms of the medium and long term loans, either in yen or in U.S. dollars for importing of Japanese machinery and equipment.

Signing of the Agreement is a successive stage for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Gazprombank and JBIC.
