OREANDA-NEWS. January 11, 2013. The number of Georgian PrivatBank customers exceeded half a million people and totalled 513,220 customers as for December 1st, 2012. The every fourth inhabitant of Georgia is served in PrivatBank actually and daily Georgian PrivatBank serves nearly 70,000 customers in its offices, via ATMs and e-banking system.

“Half a million customers is a huge number for one bank in the country with a population a little more than 4 million, including the elderly people and infants,” – said Bogdan Lesiuk, PrivatBank’s (Georgia) Chairman of the Board. – “Today our Bank daily serves six times (!) more customers than it served in the beginning of the year”.

The number of the Bank’s corporate customers has increased by 20% from the beginning of the year – and now PrivatBank serves accounts of 21,500 corporate customers and private entrepreneurs. Every second corporate customer is served via the Internet banking system Privat24 – 10,366 customers. The most popular services of Georgian PrivatBank among individual customers are plastic cards, money transfers and e-banking.
