OREANDA-NEWS. January 11, 2013. The works were accomplished by the employees from the Holding’s subsidiary – JSC TITANENERGOREMONT.

Power unit No.2 of Kalinin nuclear power plant was disconnected from the power supply on November in accordance with the balanced dispatch schedule and the request from Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC.

Some routine maintenance works were carried out during the repair period: disassembly of the reactor system with the internals dismantled, refuelling, check of reactor vessel metal and of fuel assembly framework integrity. Employees of JSC TITANENERGOREMONT took part in repair of the separator of the steam superheater, as well as of lens compensators.

The works were carried out under the contract for cooperation for years 2012-2015 made with Atomenergoremont, JSC. In accordance with this document, the organization will also participate in the repair works at Rostov NPP, Kalinin NPP, Novovoronezh NPP, Kursk NPP, and Smolensk NPP.
