Aegis Limited, a global outsourcing services company and part of the USD 27 billion Essar Group, announced that it was one of the top 10 business process outsourcing providers to be included in Gartner Inc’s 2012 Competitive Landscape: The Rise of Indigenous BPO Providers in Asia Pacific, in a report published on November 30th 2012, by TJ Singh.

According to Gartner, this 2012 report identifies key market leaders for a diverse range of horizontal, multi-domain BPO services in Asia/Pacific and provides profiles of the players in Asia/Pacific. The top 10 BPO providers in Asia/Pacific had combined revenue of over USD 2.8 billion in 2011, and leading four of these providers including Aegis had revenues of more than USD 400 million each in 2011.

According to Gartner estimate Aegis’ Asia Pacific BPO market share for 2011 was 7.1%.
