OREANDA-NEWS. January 17, 2013. Ural Airlines has summed up its 2012 operating results.

The airline's passenger traffic equalled to 3,525,066 YTD, which is 40% more than in 2011. On 30 December Ural Airlines welcomed aboard its record-breaking 3.5 million passenger.

In 2012 Ural Airlines has completed 26,960 flights (30% growth vs. 2011). This includes 10,926 international flights, 10,221 domestic flights, and 5,813 flights to CIS countries. In 2012, the airline has opened up 45 new destinations; Ural Airlines' flight geography now covers over 170 destinations.

The actual annual passenger traffic equalled to 9,548,267 thousand passenger-kilometres, which is 40% higher than the 2011 level. 11,509,565 kg of cargo and 1,958,993 kg of mail was transported during the period.
