In particular, in line with amendments to the Regulations of the State Procurement Group, the rule has been changed for regulating cancellation of the procurement procedure.

The procedure used to be cancelled when the value of all offers was 20% less or more than the estimated value, calculated by the purchasing body. According to the amendment, this indicator has been lowered to 15%.

The Regulations of Small Value State Procurements have been changed too: small value contracts to procure goods and services are considered the contracts concluded at a sum of 40 thousand leis, instead of 20 thousand leis; small value contract to procure works are considered the contract concluded at a sum of 50 thousand leis instead of 25 thousand leis. Thus, the threshold has been doubled.

Amendments to the Regulations on Public Procurements of Works stipulate now that cases have to be precisely defined for a procurement body to cancel the procedure of state procurement of works.
