OREANDA-NEWS. January 21, 2013. The net profit of the state-owned Belarusian company OJSC Belaruskali grew 33.2% on the year in January-September 2012 to Br6.123 trillion, which makes an equivalent of USD 711.15 million, according to the accounting balance sheet published by the producer.

Belaruskali’s revenues reached 15.192 trillion rubles in Jan-Sep 2012 (USD 1.764 billion, up 70% on year).

The state-owned Belarusian company OJSC Belaruskali is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of potash fertilizers, employing about 18,715 personnel. It operates the Starobinskoye potash salts deposit and comprises four mine groups, auxiliary shops and support units.

Belaruskali controls 16% of the world’s potash fertilizer market.

The government of Belarus assessed the 100% stake in state-owned OJSC Belaruskali at USD 30 billion.
