OREANDA-NEWS. January 22, 2013. BOC Aviation has signed an agreement with Airbus S.A.S. for the purchase of 50 A320 family aircraft, including 25 fuel-efficient NEOs, which are scheduled to be delivered in succession from the second half of 2014 to the end of 2019, reported the press-centre of BOC.

So far, BOC Aviation has directly purchased from Airbus an accumulative number of 187 aircraft. BOC Aviation has also been growing its fleet through purchase and leaseback transactions with airlines, and has provided Airbus aircraft leasing service to over 40 airlines worldwide.

The Singapore-based BOC Aviation is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bank of China, with a fleet of 203 owned and escrowed aircraft. In addition, BOC Aviation has another 100 aircraft on firm order as well as a young fleet with an average aircraft age of less than four years.
