OREANDA-NEWS. January 22, 2013. Successful integration into the Group of companies "Aeroflot" and clear prospects of development.

The main result of the year, without a doubt, is the successful integration of "Vladivostok Air" to the group companies of "Aeroflot". Our company has fully complied with the objectives of the medium-haul routes, with specialization by shareholders and by the Board of Directors.

Despite the reduction of the aircraft fleet the number of passengers has increased up to one airplane. For the 12 months of the year the company carried 1 million 160 thousand passengers, 886 thousand of them — domestic flights and 274 thousand — international flights. Moreover, during the last two months there has been a steady upward trend in air travel: 4% in November, 2.5% in December.

"Vladivostok Air" continued the development of an international network of routes from Vladivostok. Charter flights to Mudanjiang (China) and to Saipan are opened. Other routes from the Russian Far East to South-East Asia are working out.

Turnover of the company from January to December fixed the level 310 million tonn-kilometres. Number of transported cargo and mail — 8729 tons.

It stands to mention the significantly improvement of work quality. The punctuality of flights during the 12 months of the year amounted till 87.3%, which increases up to 17.8% in 2011. The company also completely turned to standard of service "Region", developed by the specialists of Aeroflot.

Another important event of the year was the successful completion of the IOSA audit. One of its recommendations was to end the exploitation of Yak-40. During 40 years December 25, 2012, was the final day of a successful usage of this type of aircraft in our airlines.

The main goal of the company for the year 2013 is the further improvement of service qualified and safety flights. The company’s Board of Directors recently approved a budget for next year, "Vladivostok Air" company plans to enter the operating profits. The new budget is planned at 17% revenue growth while reducing the cost of air transportation to 15%.

The company expects the positive tendency in November and December 2012, to increase the volume of passenger traffic will continue in the next year, after 2013, the number of passengers should be increased probably up to 20%.
