OREANDA-NEWS. January 23, 2013. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov assured that hryvnya course would remain stable in 2013. The head of Government emphasized that in the recent years a sufficient store of firmness had been created and there is no need to involve the NBU reserves for support of the course’s stability.

“We will not spend foreign exchange reserves to ensure support of the course. We possess other opportunities to secure its stability. There won’t be depreciation of currency,” the Head of Government told in his communication with journalists of foreign mass media accredited in Ukraine.

Mykola Azarov noted planned in the state budget average monthly hryvnya course is at the level of 8.3 – 8.4 per 1 American dollar and it will certainly be upheld.

“How was it before? If they wanted – they supported hryvnya, if they did not want – they didn’t. There won’t be any games with the hryvnya course,” the Prime Minister assured.
