OREANDA-NEWS. January 23, 2013. Two cast iron workshops of the foundry of OJSC KAMAZ are carrying out construction-and-assembly operations.

Foundry Shop 1 is mounting a new furnace made by Otto Junker, Germany. The capacity of two induction furnaces is 25 tons. The new equipment will contribute to higher labor productivity and product quality, and also lower energy costs. It will be launched in 2013.

The core shop of iron casting production unit will soon finish installing the core maker made by IMF, Italy. The equipment will be used to manufacture cores for KAMAZ’s major projects: production of vehicles with Euro 4 engines for the needs of CUMMINS KAMA JV.
