OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2013. Belarus’ OJSC Olivaria, a brewery based in the city of Minsk, produced 7.664 million decaliters of beer in 2012, a decrease of 15.3% on the year, a representative in Belgospischeprom concern told.

In December alone the company produced 641,000 decalitres of beer, down 17% on the year.

Beer offering in plastic bottles decreased 14% to 5.725 million decaliters, in glass bottles decreased 33.2% to 1.316 million decaliters, and in kegs increased 8.5% to 369,000 decaliters. Beer offering in cans reached 254,000 decaliters (up 3.2 times).

Olivaria beer sales on the domestic market decreased 12.5% on the year in 2012 to 7.932 million decaliters.

The brewery exported 338,200 decaliters of beer in 2012, up 58.9%.

Olivaria was founded in 1864 and transformed into a joint stock company in 1994. Olivaria became part of Carlsberg A/S in May 2008.
