OREANDA-NEWS. January 24, 2013. On January 22, SOCAR opened one more new petrol station at Targu Neamt, in Northern Romania.
 The opening ceremony was attended by the representatives of SOCAR Petroleum SA and local management. Head of SOCAR Petroleum Hamza Karimov stated that 2013-2015 years will be a new period of investments for SOCAR in Romania, after which the company will become an important mark on the oil and gas market in the country. Noting the successful relations between Azerbaijan and Romania, Mr. Karimov mentioned that Romania plays an important role in the development of these relations and wished good luck to the station staff. Speaking at the event, executive of Targu Neamt region Trayan Humulesku expressed his gratitude for SOCAR’s investment projects in Romania.

New petrol station will realize the sale of Euro Diesel 95, Super Euro Diesel 98, Octane Petrol 95 and 98. The number of SOCAR petrol stations in Romania reached 14.
