OREANDA-NEWS. January 29, 2013. IBS Group, a leading software development and IT services provider in Central and Eastern Europe, announces that Luxoft, a member of IBS Group, has opened a second delivery centre in Poland, its 19th worldwide, reported the press-centre of IBS Group.

Located in Wroclaw, the new facility will offer a comprehensive range of application and product development services for large firms and software companies, and will specialise in providing solutions to the banking and financial services sector.

Poland is Luxoft's fourth–largest global delivery location. The company is building on the successful experience of its first Polish delivery centre, opened in Krakow in 2010, and is on track to become one of the country's largest IT companies. The new office plans to hire 100 engineers in the next 12 months, and management expects to increase staff numbers to 750 over the next two years.

Luxoft will benefit from Poland's deep pool of highly skilled, multilingual IT engineers, as well as the country’s strategic location relative to major European cities and its economic stability. The Wroclaw centre will be headed by Wojciech Mach, who has many years' experience of launching, developing and managing businesses.

Wojciech Mach, Managing Director, Luxoft Poland, said:"We have been very pleased with Luxoft's success in building its software development and delivery practice in Poland, and look forward to developing the Wroclaw centre into another dedicated delivery location bringing our clients the benefits of our engineering excellence and expertise.

"Poland is rapidly becoming a strategically important location for Luxoft. The country's culture and educational system complement those of Luxoft's other global centres, and offer a good fit for the company's core culture of innovation and flexibility."
