OREANDA-NEWS. January 29, 2013. The Bolivarian Government and Petroleos de Venezuela, S.A. – PDVSA are strengthening their strategic alliances through meetings to review and promote established agreements for the industry development with top representatives from Repsol and ENI.

Rafael Ramirez, People?s Minister of Petroleum and Mining and PDVSA’s president, will meet Antonio Brufau, Repsol’s president, this Thursday, December 27th at La Campina. They will go through the established agreements between the Spanish company and Venezuela.

Last December 21st, Ramirez met Paolo Scaroni, ENI’s president. They held a high-level exchange with the purpose of evaluating future opportunities for the production of condensate fuel and non-associated gas offshore Venezuela.

The meeting was headed by PDVSA’s president and Scaroni. Together with representatives from both state companies, they studied the next production projects of Venezuelan hydrocarbons.

The European company has become a productive ally for our nation’s main industry. Currently, ENI participates with PDVSA in a project made up by the joint ventures Petrojunin (oil producer) and Petrobicentenario (refinery in an advanced stage of construction).

The achievements of PDVSA are the product of the Bolivarian Revolution’s progress. It has allowed the creation of an irreversible and fundamental oil policy for the possibility of building Socialism for the development and growth of the Venezuelan people.
