OREANDA-NEWS. January 31, 2013. To increase the power supply reliability of consumers of Shakhovsky district, branch of JSC “MOESK” - Western Electric Grids is continuing to renovate 110/35/10 feeding center “Shakhovskaya”, which was constructed in 1962, reported the press-centre of MOESK.

As of today, two power autotransformers each by 25 MVA have been installed and put into service, and they substituted the autotransformers, which had exhausted their operating life, each by 15 MVA capacity. So, the total transformer capacity increased from 30 MVA to 50 MVA. The necessary arrangements on an additional increase of the function quality of the equipment are being carried out in the distribution devices: 110, 35 and 10 kV. From now forth, the total substation’s capacity is planned to be increased, in comparison with the previous one, by almost 2,5 times, and as a result it will amount to 80 MVA.

As of today, in the course of reconstruction works, an installation of the secondary wiring chains is being carried out at 110/35/10 kV substation “Shakhovskaya”.

Renovation completion is planned till the end of 2015.

Reconstruction of 110/35/10 kV substation “Shakhovskaya” is being implemented according to the investment program of JSC “MOESK” and the Moscow Region Government, in order to increase power supply reliability of Shakhovsky district’s consumers and to create favorable conditions to connect new subscribers to the electric grids.
