OREANDA-NEWS. The third New Year’s Miracle federal charity campaign has ended at Gazpromneft automotive fueling stations . The purpose of the campaign was to provide aid to disadvantaged children. In concluding the campaign, Gazprom Neft will allocate 25 million rubles for the needs of children’s institutions in regions where Gazpromneft gas stations are present.

The annual New Year’s Miracle federal charity campaign began on December 3 across Russia. Over 126,000 Russian motorists, customers of the Gazpromneft gas station chain, supported the campaign by collecting marks on special coupons. For each coupon, 200 rubles were donated to aid for the children. Each motorist independently decided how the funds were to be used: for repairing orphanage facilities, buying sporting equipment, or buying equipment for children’s playrooms and computer classrooms.

A ceremonial presentment of money certificates and gifts for children will be held in sponsored orphanages in February. For the delivery of the gifts to the orphanages, Gazprom Neft will deploy the G-Drive Racing team led by the famous Russian racecar driver Roman Rusinov. Entertaining contests and trivia games await the children, and the atmosphere of a car race will be recreated in the arrangement of each celebratory event.

The New Year’s Miracle campaign is held traditionally at the end of each year. This year, aid will be distributed to 27 orphanages and boarding schools located in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Tyumen, Noyabrsk, Kemerovo, Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg, and other cities.
