OREANDA-NEWS. At a recent meeting of The Supervisory Board of UTair Aviation, held on January 21st 2013, a decision was taken to approve the report on the results of the shareholders of UTair Aviation regarding the redemption of their shares.

A decision was taken approving a major transaction (series of related transactions) at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of UTair Aviation on November 30. In accordance with Article 75 of the Federal Law “relating to Joint Stock Companies” any of the airline’s shareholders who voted against the resolution on the above subject or did not participate in the vote on the issue, has the right to demand the redemption of all or a part of their shares in UTair Aviation.

In accordance with the financial statements, the net worth of the airline on the date of the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders was calculated to be 2,531,902 (000s) of rubles.

UTair Aviation ranks among the top three Russian airlines. In 2012 UTair aircraft transported 8,582,681 passengers. The airline operates more than 200 fixed wing aircraft and performs flights to 110 destinations in Russia and aboard. The airline maintains its central hub at Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow, from which it performs 100 flights daily.
