OREANDA-NEWS. The R-Pharm Group supported the Third All-Russia Student Pharmaceutical Contest (VSFO), organized in Kazan, January 30-31, 2013. The VSFO educational project was supported by Association of Russian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (ARFM) and aimed to stimulate the development of educational system in accordance with the actual demands of pharmaceutical industry. The event attracted the representatives of Tatarstan Education and Science Ministry; Victor Dmitriev, CEO, ARFM; the representatives of pharmaceutical companies; 31 team from various Russian regions and national teams from Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

The winners of the contest were announced on January 31 and awarded with two-month scholarships at The Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology of Kazan Federal University and the opportunity to attend The Adam Smith International Pharmaceutical Forum in Saint-Petersburg. The R-Pharm Group provided a laptop for the student of Krasnoyarsk State Medical University who took the first place in the contest and recognition gifts for other participants.

Marina Kotelnikova, HR Director, R-Pharm Group, highlighted the importance of supporting events like this: “The event allows an employer to participate in education of potential employees and give them practical knowledge that has not been included yet into handbooks. We discuss actual problems and trends of our industry and invite students to try themselves in solution of real manufacturing of research tasks. Also we offer them unprejudiced check of their skills and knowledge and share achievements and plans of our company. I would like to highlight the importance of direct communications between employers and professors of leading universities for collaborative creation of efficient and contemporary educational techniques and requirements for highly demanded prospective pharmaceutical professionals.”
