OREANDA-NEWS. February 15, 2013. In "MEGABANK" has started the new project of technical assistance, initiated by the European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE). The project, implemented by consultants of "Frankfurt School of Finance & Management" (Germany), is aimed at improving procedures of agro lending of the bank, reported the press-centre of MEGABANK.

According to a senior banking adviser of "Frankfurt School" Christophe Cordonnier, at the first visit the experts met with representatives of the Board, familiarized with the processes and procedures of the agro lending and analyzed agro products offered today by "MEGABANK". "I should note that "MEGABANK" works very well in this regard. Agro lending in the bank is organized at a high level: a flexible approach to the customer, highly skilled staff and a thorough analysis of the creditworthiness of farmers, based on deep knowledge of the specifics of the agricultural business. The serious approach is apparent", – said C. Cordonnier.

In cooperating with the experts of "MEGABANK" consultants will be working to improve the processes of agro lending and risk assessment tools specific to the agricultural sector. "The purpose of "MEGABANK" is in the future to enter the top five of agricultural sector lending in Ukraine. To achieve this, it is necessary to develop a strategy to search for potential niches to work in this business segment", – said C. Cordonnier.
