OREANDA-NEWS. On February 15th, in the framework of the X Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum, the Krasnoyarsk Territory Governor Lev Kuznetsov, the First Deputy Governor and the Chair of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Government Viktor Tomenko, the Siberian Coal Energy Company (SUEK) CEO Vladimir Rashevsky signed Socioeconomic Cooperation Agreement 2013.

This is the 11th time that such an agreement has been signed. The document seals the main social projects, which SUEK and "Siberian Generating Company" Group (SGC) will be supporting in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The 2013 Agreement covers approximately 50 socially important projects. SUEK and SGC are going to disburse 53,000,000 rubles toward their implementation.

The Companies will be providing support for the projects focused on promotion of sports, medicine, culture; construction of outdoor playsets for children, universal sports grounds and playgrounds for children in the cities hosting the Companies' operations. The Labor Squads project progress will be kept up — this project has become a representation of the Krasnoyarsk Territory's social policy and is currently unfolded in other areas enjoying SUEK's presence.

In 2012, SUEK-Krasnoyarsk operations won 29.5 mln tonnes of coal, up 1.2 mln tonnes versus the previous year output. The amount of electric power generated by SGC operations in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in 2012 went up by 11% and reached 10,948 kW?h, while the heat energy output increased approximately by 1.4% and reached 12,217,000 Gcal. There were more than 840 mln rubles invested in development of SUEK coal winning operations in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, with over 4,4 bn rubles invested in SGC operations.
