OREANDA-NEWS. Tele2, a European mobile operator, will equip its monobrand shops with no-fee payment terminals. QIWI Arenda will come as exclusive partner of Tele2 and install QIWI terminals in all Tele2 Russia regional shops.


Tele2 will equip its monobrand stores with QIWI terminals as part of the federal program on developing monobrand retail chains. Terminals made in the Tele2 design will accept no-fee payments for Tele2 services. QIWI Arenda will be an exclusive supplier of equipment in 41 Russian regions.

 If successfully completed, the project will let Tele2 set up a chain containing 300 QIWI terminals. The company will get a new communication channel to stay in touch with its subscribers, another payment tool and a source for analytics. Besides, setting up payment terminals will ease pressure on shop assistants in Tele2 store. It will release additional resources for connecting new subscribers and mobile phone sales.
