OREANDA-NEWS. February 25, 2013. SORAINEN Estonia is advising the minority shareholders of Eesti Telekom, squeezed out when TeliaSonera de-listed Estonia's largest telecom, and who have launched a class action lawsuit seeking a higher price for their shares.

TeliaSonera, the new owner of 60.12% of Eesti Telekom, offered EEK 93 per share to other shareholders, a 28% premium compared to the average price of the six previous months. Former minority shareholders claim fair compensation for having to sell their shares in a distressed situation.

The court appointed partners Carri Ginter and Reimo Hammerberg together with specialist counsel Urmas Volens to represent the squeezed out shareholders. This demonstrates the trust of the judiciary in the competence of the SORAINEN dispute team to handle complicated cases involving the public interest.
