OREANDA-NEWS. February 25, 2013. Victoriabank awarded the best 100 students in the country, selected within "Victoriabank Scholarships Program", organized for the third consecutive year.

The scholarships award took place on February 15 during a festive event in the White Hall of the Codru hotel. The ceremony was attended by Loretta Handrabura, Vice-Minister of Education, rectors of several higher institutions, the winners of the previous year scholarships program, as well as the representatives from the bank.
 
"Victoriabank Scholarships Program" was launched on the occasion of the International Student Day and got to the third edition. The goal of the program is to identify and award the best students from Moldovan universities with remarkable results in studies and extra-curricular activities. The total financial value of 100 scholarships, of which 70 merit-based and 30 social, offered by Victoriabank per each participant for 10 academic months is 650 000 MDL.
 
The Diploma and scholarships cards award ceremony for the winners of this edition was solemnly opened by the “Lacrymosa” choir singing the students anthem “Gaudeamus Igitur”.
