OREANDA-NEWS. February 25, 2013. IBS Group, a leading software development and IT services provider in Central and Eastern Europe, announces that Mr Ishkhan Kazinian is appointed Head of Data Integration Division of IBS IT Services, a member of IBS Group.

The increasing interest in big data solutions is driven by the fast growth of digital data sets. Analysts predict that volumes of data, including corporate, will snowball at annual rates reaching 50% over the next five years.

IBS Group has already implemented a number of projects utilising big data technologies for major international companies, especially in the banking and power sectors. In particular, Luxoft, an IBS Group company, presented its DMMessenger software platform in January 2013. DMMessenger uses big data approaches to analyse electricity consumption in grids of any size and streamline power supplies to consumers. Also, IBS IT Services experts were involved in developing Medialogia, which was one of Russia’s largest projects in unstructured data analysis.
Backed by a unique team of data integration and big data experts, IBS IT Services is now building a dedicated division in Russia to develop this business. The new Data Integration Division will develop market corporate data integration and big data solutions based on best technologies offered by the world’s leading vendors and will be in charge of their roll-out and integration in customers‘ IT infrastructures.

The division will be led by Ishkhan Kazinian, who has returned to IBS from the position of Deputy Managing Director for Strategic Industries at SAP CIS. Ishkhan had been with IBS in 2004–2010, having worked up from business development to Deputy Head of Corporate Management Systems. In addition, Ishkhan secured a strong track record in managing large-scale in-house IT projects while employed by LUKOIL.

Sergey Matsotsky, Senior Vice President of IBS Group, said: “To develop our Big Data business, we rely on Ishkhan Kazinian’s background both with IBS (including externally as a top executive at our partner company) and on the client side in business units and IT department. Under Ishkhan’s direction, the Data Integration Division is expected to develop and bring to the market a competitive portfolio of big data processing solutions, build relationships with technology partners, and, most importantly, relationships with customers to identify their business needs in data integration and offer efficient IT solutions to their tasks.”
