OREANDA-NEWS. February 26, 2013. In her first exclusive interview in China following relocation from Paris to Beijing, Anne Marion-Bouchacount, Chairman of Societe Generale China, expressed her excitement to be in China at a crucial period when the nation poises for more financial reforms and its corporate and citizens assert more confidences and ambitions on international stage.

She revealed the backgrounds of her relocation and the great expectations and commitments from Societe Generale’s top management for her and her tasks.

Anne Marion-Bouchacount stated that the bank is fully committed to develop a full-fledged universal bank that encompasses different businesses, and she took an optimistic view on the challenges facing the banking industries. She stressed the importance to develop a client-focused culture, have a clearly defined client segment, learn and be pragmatic on expansion, and grow by leveraging on Societe Generale’s core strengths.

“I don’t think the aim here is to do everything we do in the group. But more try to think how to build on the strengths from the group. And bring things what we are good at,” said Anne Marion-Bouchacount.
